Mumbai witnessed galaxy of eminent personalities and popular TV actors for the book launch of renowned author and journalist Aashu Patel’s latest novel on philanthropist Shri Rizwan Adatia, founder and chairman of Rizwan Adatia Foundation ( RAF) . Shri Rizwan also celebrated his 50 birthday along with the book launch. The book covers Shri Rizvan’s journey who through his NGO has touched the lives of over 7 Lakhs people across seven countries in Asia and Africa. The dual celebration event was marked by the presence of several renowned actors and personalities of the Indian entertainment industry. This is the 50th book penned by the author on which Director – Jayant Gilatar of Chalk n Duster fame has announced a major web series. The book was launched by film directors duo Abbas-Mustan known for their gripping and thoroughly entertaining films such as Bazigaar , Race and many others, Jayant Gilatar, Producer Jayantilal Gada, Astrophysicist Dr. J.J. Raval and Mr. Aashishkumar Chauhan, CEO and MD of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at the Taj Lands End. The event also saw the presence of stars from the television industry Neha Mehta and Apara Mehta who joined in the celebrations on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Shri Adatia – Founder and Chairman of Rizwan Adatia Foundation (RAF) and 50th book by Shri Aashu Patel.
“There couldn’t be a better gift than to have a novel based on your own life presented to you on your birthday. I am thankful to the author and my dear friend Aashu Patel for it. To mark this occasion, RAF will initiate a tree plantation campaign to plant 50,000 trees across India. Alongside, we are also initiating infrastructure development activities in fifty schools each across rural areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat,” says Shri Rizwan Adatia.
Born in Porbandar, Gujarat, Shri Adatia is an African businessman settled in Mozambique. He founded RAF in 2015 to positively impact the quality of people’s life through innovative initiatives. RAF focuses on lending the required support to the vulnerable including children, youth, women and senior citizens through the several channels it has developed for catering to specific issues.
