Lufthansa ‘Runway to Success’ campaign wins Gold at the DMA International ECHO® Awards

Lufthansa ‘Runway to Success’ campaign was awarded Gold in the category of ‘Travel and Hospitality/Transportation’ at the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) International ECHO® Awards. At a glittering ceremony held in Los Angeles on October 16, 2016, MRM//McCANN, the advertising agency for Lufthansa in India, received the medal in presence of marketing leaders from across the globe.


The Echo Awards honor the world’s best marketing campaigns that have raised the bar in terms of strategy, creativity and results in direct and digital marketing. This award recognizes Lufthansa ‘Runway to Success’ campaign for its innovative concept and outstanding work.

DMA International ECHO® Awards 2016 were decided through an objective evaluation by a jury comprising over 90 renowned professionals culled from across the global marketing ecosystem. The jury undertook a rigorous judging process combining several rounds of in-person and online evaluations. Organised by Direct Marketing Association, the DMA International ECHO® awards honor excellence in creativity, marketing strategy, and response results in data-driven marketing campaigns. With entries submitted by agencies and advertisers worldwide, DMA’s ECHO Awards recognize every type of media used in direct and interactive marketing campaigns.
